Getting spammed by LocalMatches.net is a daily occurence and a pain in the qass for lots of CraigsList users who need to sift through tons of spam email to get to real email messages. LocalMatches.net has been spamming CraigsList personal ads for as long as I can remember. Now they have started using Bit.ly (a link shortening service), to hide their links in emails sent to people. Tinyurl.com is by spammers to redirect people to their scams in this case http://tinyurl.com/98nggmn redirects to Verified-Hookup.com. So if you see links such as http://tinyurl.com/98nggmn, it will take you to Verified-HookUp.com. Once you are on Verified-HookUp.com the scammers have a registration form for your phone number and also for your credit card info. This is how they get you, don’t put your phone number in or you will get fake text messages from fake girls and you will also be charged over $100 if you enter in your credit card info to get “verified”. Spammers used to use Tumbler to disguise their spammy efforts but now they are using Bit.ly, which is a link shortening and website redirection service. In particular the people behind the spamming of LocalCasuals.net use Bit.ly all the time to spam people over and over. If you received weird links from J.mp you are not alone. Online dating spammers are using J.mp to redirects CraigsList users to sites such as HornyMatches.com. 1000s of people get the same spammy links as you do. The best thing to do is ignore the emails. The last email usually has a link to visit a scam site which from what the scammer says “confirms age and scans the sex predator’s database before allowing somebody to join the site.” The whole point of getting you to join the site is to get you to pull out your credit card. “Maria Briggs” (not the scammer’s real name) emailed me a new scam site today called SafeForDating.com. These photos (see below) have been used many times and I have them posted on other scam reports on this site. The scammer who owns this site also owns MatchShield.com and CraigsGuard.com both of which are also Craigs List dating scam sites. “Maria” wants to make sure “I’m not on any stalker lists or anything like that” so I need to verify that on SafeForDating.com by inputting my personal info and credit card information on SafeForDating.com. After I do that then wham, you will get billed from 3 different sites (CitySex.com, NaughtyCuteTeens.com and XXXVault.com) for over $100 of charges!! Read the full report below.

DatingSafeGuard.com Is Not Safe, It’s A Scam

“Vanessa” (not the scammer’s real name) wants me to prove that I’m not a sex offender or a violent criminal by going to DatingSafeGuard.com and getting “verified” before she will meet me in person. By getting “verified” she means that I need to input my personal information and my credit card number on the online form on DatingSafeGuard.com. This whole thing is one big scam to trick you into to entering your credit card information on the site. After you have entered your credit card info on DatingSafeGuard.com what happens is that you will be billed to three different sites, two of them being online porn sites (NaughtyCuteTeens.com and XXXVault.com). The bill for this scam works out to be over $100 for supposedly verifying yourself to prove that you are not a sex offender or a violent criminal. Read the full report below.
