First off you should realize that CraigsSecuredDating.com is not associated with CraigsList.com. These scammers (in this case Nancy Grace) are using the name CraigsSecuredDating.com to help build trust with you, so they can scam you easier. You let your guard down thinking this site is safe because it is part of CraigsList.com and then you get screwed.
This type of scam is what I call the “online verification” scam. CraigsSecuredDating is designed to look like some type of service that can do background checks on potential people you meet online, this is simply not true.
