Getting spammed by LocalMatches.net is a daily occurence and a pain in the qass for lots of CraigsList users who need to sift through tons of spam email to get to real email messages. LocalMatches.net has been spamming CraigsList personal ads for as long as I can remember. Now they have started using Bit.ly (a link shortening service), to hide their links in emails sent to people. Usually if you get links with Bit.ly in them from CraigsList personal ads it’s almost always spam so don’t click on them! Bit.ly is NOT responsible for sending out spam, it is online spammers.
