Y.ahoo.it is a service that takes lengthy URLs and shortens them, it is owned by Yahoo.com. Online spammers use link shortening services such as Yahoo.it to mask and disguise their links so they get past spam filters when they send out spam emails. These spammy emails (shown below) were sent by Kati Ulmer” and “Kelley Skolnik”(they are not real women) to entice and trick me into visting JustHookUp.com. Once I visit JustHookup I need to sign up on JustHookUp.com to search for the fake women (“Kati Ulmer” or “Kelley Skolnik”). The spammers make a referral fee when you sign up, so be smart and delete any emails from Y.ahoo.it that you receive from CraigsList.com personal ads. Read the full report below.
