“Mary” has been scamming CraigsList users with Verified-Hookup.com for quite some time now. Now Mary is trying to disguise her spammy links by using Tinyurl.com. Tinyurl.com is by spammers to redirect people to their scams in this case http://tinyurl.com/98nggmn redirects to Verified-Hookup.com. So if you see links such as http://tinyurl.com/98nggmn, it will take you to Verified-HookUp.com. Once you are on Verified-HookUp.com the scammers have a registration form for your phone number and also for your credit card info. This is how they get you, don’t put your phone number in or you will get fake text messages from fake girls and you will also be charged over $100 if you enter in your credit card info to get “verified”.
