My work is related to protecting personal information and identities from malicious activity; after running a comprehensive investigation on the “Craigslist Verifier’ site it was just created on Nov 16 2014, it only has a 1 year registration; the owner have domain privacy turned on and is masked from the public; the site has no affiliation with Craigslist which means it is misrepresenting their name.
My investigation and trace of the site and access and past shows this address has been used in yahoo and other scams prior to its showing up in emails from Craigslist. If it was real it would be part of the Craigslist culture.
After tracing emails they all came form the same individual in the investigation of 12 different dates.
What out for these scams never use personal information online unless the verisign is true and the site has a lock located in the bottom right corner.
