Some of the newer spam emails I have received have links to Tumblr.com in the spam emails. The reason spammers use Tumblr.com is because if you see a link from Tumblr.com you will trust it more since you know the site than just clicking some random link. Once you click the Tumblr link you are redirected to the real site in this case it’s FriendsWithBenifits.net. Read the full report below.

I just received one that was a redirect to FriendsWIthBenifits. Sent from a “Theresa Laughead”. Here’s the email wording:
“You messaged my craigslist ad last month, hope fully you’re still seeking someone to get together with. I’m a sorta wild, fun loving girl. I’m drug / desease free, drink sometimes, and don’t smoke.
At http://bit.ly/O9Ncl4 I have my photos along with my phonenumber. So let’s talk somemore if you’re interested in me, then we will just have to find out what happens.”
Immediate redirect to FwB. Scam! Thanks for the heads-up here, it’s how I knew that site was bogus.
